Lark Rise and Candleford were the fictionalised names of real places where Flora Thompson, who wrote the trilogy from which the television series was adapted, grew up. With the help of Tony Webster (Principal Compiler and Researcher, The Flora Thompson World Collection) we take a trip to see the real Candleford Post Office as it looks now, and even visit the original 'End House', Flora Thompson's first home (the Timmins' house in the books and television programme).
