David and Pat Rogers's son Adam died after being struck with one punch in the centre of Blackburn, in an unprovoked attack, while out with friends. They have begun a campaign called Consequences to warn other young people of the dangers of turning to violence while out drinking.

Margarent Foxley came face to face with the man who broke into her home and stole a laptop which contained photographs of her daughter Jessica, who was killed in a car crash. Margaret has kept in touch with the burglar, and says he has been trying to turn his life around.
