There are now more than a hundred thousand kinds of fly. Their duck-and-dive design has let them take over the world and, despite being small, they have a massive impact on other life. In fact, flies are the most dangerous animals on earth, responsible for more human deaths than any other creature. They carry and spread disease. Because they are so small and manoeuvrable it is impossible to escape from them.
