Nick Clegg
Ninety senior Liberal Democrat councillors wrote to The Times, on Thursday 10 February, criticising the coalition's cuts to local government budgets.
The letter also accused the Government of denigrating local authorities through the media.
One of the people who signed it was Cllr Alan Connett, the leader of Teignbridge District Council.
Well just a day later the Lib Dem leader and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg turned up in Teigbridge.
Martyn Oates put it to him that a large number of senior Liberal Democrats were still obviously very unhappy with him for signing their party up to the Conservatives' cuts agenda.
