Pensioners in Reading are angry they could be penalised for working hard and saving for retirement. Today they'll be handing over a petition to councillors signed by hundreds of people opposing plans for a shake-up of the adult care system. The proposals will mean thousands of people will have to start paying for things like daycare and transport - previously free or heavily subsidised.
The woman behind the petition is Freda Potten and she told Andrew Peach why she thinks day centres are so important.
