Midsomer鈥檚 dead, and very white, bodies

No ethnicity in Midsomer Murders as, 鈥渋t wouldn't be the English village with them.鈥

Listeners from Shropshire鈥檚 villages react as Brian True-May, producer of ITV1鈥檚 Midsomer Murders claims, "We just don't have ethnic minorities involved. Because it wouldn't be the English village with them. It just wouldn't work."

Jim discusses these views with Sherrel Fikeis of the Connecting Communities Group, which aims to give a stronger voice to all ethnic minority groups in Telford and Wrekin, and who herself lives in a small Shropshire village.

And should Dawley High Street be open to traffic 鈥 Mid Morning鈥檚 listeners have strong views on the matter.
