Buffalo stand-off
Buffalo may look innocuous but they can be highly dangerous. Caught out in the open, the only option for Jonathan Scott and John Stevens is to keep a low profile. Fortunately, the wind is with them as it is blowing across them. They stay still and hope that the buffalo don't see their movement or they may suddenly turn and run. By keeping absolutely still, they ensure that the buffalo aren't able to work out what they are. Meanwhile the animals desperately try to catch Jonathan and John's scent. Finally the pull of the water lures the buffalo away to a nearby island where they will stay the night, only returning to the mainland early the following morning. It is part of a routine that they repeat again and again.
