Local doctor Rachel Crowther spent 20years juggling a medical career with bringing up five children. Although she has always written in her spare time, she only recently managed to carve out some protected time for writing - helped on her way by creative writing courses at both Oxford and Oxford Brookes Universities. Her hard work has paid off as she sees her first novel published.
