Indigenisation in Zimbabwe

Why shouldn't the Zimbabwean government take over foreign firms and, why Americans love their homes so much.

Robert Mugabe claims that foreign firms - particularly mining companies - have been making vast profits out of their operations in Zimbabwe for years. Now it says it wants a fifty-one per cent share. We'll be asking why shouldn't Zimbabwe take control?

We have a report from Zimbabwe from the 大象传媒's Steve Vickers and Justin Rowlatt interviews Robert Besseling, senior Africa forecaster with Exclusive Analysis.

And we'll also be discovering why fixing your gutters links you with one of the founding myths of America. Our Washington commentator James Shrodes has been giving his home a spring makeover and has been reflecting on how the American love of bricks and mortar compares with other nations.

Plus: why in America single, divorced and widowed women are now starting more businesses as entrepreneurs than men in similar circumstances. Justin Rowlatt speaks to Erin Albert who has written a book called: "Single. Women. Entrepreneurs." which investigates the motives of a group of women who have set up successful companies.
