Newport wetlands
The Newport Wetlands Centre is one of Wales' newest reserves, created when the Cardiff Bay Barrage was built as a new area for wetland birds to use. It's an excellent site for reed bunting, cetti's warbler and one of the best places in Wales to see little egrets in Wales.
