Wild hay meadows
Iolo Williams visits an amazing old hay meadow in Monmouth with Eric Hawkswood. In June the entire meadow fills up with orchids and wild flowers including bee, marsh and common spotted orchids. We've lost nearly 98% of hay meadows in the past 50 years and the few that remain are vitally important. Careful land managment is key to the hay meadows success.
