Easter reflections on natural disasters, cancer and benefits

Easter reflections on natural disasters, living with cancer and spending Lent on benefits.

Today is a celebration of the Easter Festival.

Keyboard Legend Rick Wakeman puts aside his Grumpy Old Man persona to tell Rob what Easter means to him as a Christian.

The lean-living Rector of Woolpit & Drinkstone, Ruth Farrell, comes into the studio to reflect on a Lent spent living on Job Seeker's Allowance.

She says: "Now I have to translate the kindness shown to me to caring for others in the community and strengthening the links we have to ensure people feel genuinely supported."

The Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich is using his Easter message to promote the Christian response to the natural disasters in Japan and New Zealand.

The Right Reverend Nigel Stock says hope and trust should be part of faith in a world where it is easy to be frightened by world events.

Rob also hears from the Catholic Bishop of East Anglia, the Right Reverend Michael Evans.

He has been talking about recently conducting one of the most important services in his religion's calendar, the Chrism Mass.

Conducting the service was a target the Bishop set himself to reach, as he is dying of cancer.

The Rural Dean of Ipswich, Ian Morgan, joins Rob for a rummage through the Sunday papers.

The Dean of Bury cathedral, Frances Ward, shares her Easter thoughts and Rob plays some uplifting and thought-provoking music to start your Easter Sunday.
