The Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan produced a swift and radical response in Germany. Chancellor Angela Merkel ordered a review of her country's nuclear policy and decreed that seven of the oldest reactors should cease working.

But as 大象传媒's Steve Evans reports from Germany, switching away from nuclear power raises other dilemmas such as building a network of unsightly cables to carry wind power.
