“Rape is rape” or can it be “more serious”?
Rape, life as an amputee, and catching up on 25 years’ history since the Domesday Project
Following Justice Secretary Ken Clarke’s controversial comments, listeners consider whether rape, and the sentences awarded, be categorised?
We revisit the ý’s Domesday Project 25 years on.
Jim chats to Adrian Williams from the Shropshire Library Service (which would have held copies of the Domesday Disc back in 1986) and to Andy Smeed-Curd from Condover Hall about changes seen there since it was covered by the Project.
And, as Telford hosts a Trauma Care Conference, John Reid from the Limbless Association gives an insight into dealing with the loss of a limb and help that can be offered to amputees.
