Stuart looks back at the National Garden Festival that launched in Stoke-on-Trent in May 1986 on reclaimed industrial land. Lamont Howie will be at the Garden Festival site, now known as Festival Park with guests including former festival workers, a musician who played at the festival, and the man tasked with ferrying the Queen on a narrowboat at the official opening!

We also have an interview with Lord Heseltine who was the minister in charge of the Garden Festival project in 1986.

There are musical choices from 1986 throughout the show, and an interview with former Radio Stoke presenter Jason Dean, who was a robust news presenter here in 1986.
