Combat evolved: from bullets to bombs
British soldiers are well trained to dodge bullets. But the Taliban have discovered that by making bombs and planting them on roads, they can effectively kill soldiers and cause huge damage to vehicles. The ever increasing threat of IEDs – Improvised Explosive Devices - is a lethal challenge for soldiers.
