Domestic violence

Lancashire Police are considering installing cctv cameras in the homes of people at risk of domestic violence.

Victims who are repeatedly abused in East Lancashire may get CCTV cameras put in their homes to protect them.

A funding bid is being put together by police, the county council and domestic abuse agencies for the pilot project.

In Lancashire, there's a high percentage of male victims compared to other parts of the country, with 30% of sufferers in Clitheroe being male.
