Nick calls the residents together to discuss the handling of the first clean up task. In their haste to get rid of the rubbish on the street the residents didn't do their research properly and disposed of the fridge unlawfully. The result is a 拢300 fine from Nick that comes straight out of their communal kitty. On top of that the recycling centre they used turns out to be council run, so the rubbish makes an unwelcome return to the street.
