Video: Laurent-Perrier Garden, designed by Luciano Giubbilei
Luciano is back designing for Laurent-Perrier after winning gold for them in 2009, known for his control and almost flower-free designs, this is a departure from the norm. Playing with the notion of how nature and human design coexist in a garden, he has used plants and sculptures in two distinct areas of the garden.
A large pool filled with rocks fully and part submerged runs from the front of the garden up to a bamboo pavilion designed by Kengo Kuma. The pool is flanked by large beds full of naturalistic planting based on the colours of ros茅 champagne whilst large bare stemmed Parrotia perscia frame the whole garden tying all elements together.
