Tipped as Africa鈥檚 answer to Ne-Yo by industry experts due to his beautiful song writing skills, multiple award-winning singer/songwriter DAREY is turning his attention on breaking the UK market. Darey is anything but 鈥榥ew鈥� to this game. Having shot to fame in 2004 following a successful stint on the popular African TV show Project Fame, he went on to release his debut album 鈥楩rom Me 2 U鈥� in 2006 and in 2009 he released his sophomore record 鈥榰n.DAREY.ted鈥� in his birth country Nigeria. Both albums were certified platinum and earned him not only a massive following around the world, but also a number of nominations across some of Africa鈥檚 major award-shows including the Hip Hop World Awards, Channel O Awards and the prestigious MTV MAMAs.
