Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Canadian Prime Minister Lester Pearson, contemplates the political world order in his Reith series entitled 'Peace in the Family of Man'.
In this lecture entitled 'Which way will it go?', Lester Pearson concludes his Reith series by contemplating what needs to happen globally in order for peace to prevail. He identifies the non-proliferation of nuclear armaments, bridging the economic gap between rich and poor and a d茅tente between East and West as essential developments. Only with quick and concerted action, Pearson argues, can these things lead to peace.
