Apprenticeships return to Vauxhall Motors in Luton
There's some positive jobs news today. For the first time in more than 15, years Vauxhall Motors in Luton is re-launching its apprenticeship scheme.
Work and Pensions Secretary, Iain Duncan Smith, has called on businesses to employ more British youngsters, instead of foreigners.
Recent figures suggested almost 90 per cent of the 400,000 jobs created in the past year went to people born abroad.
For the first time in more than 15 years, Vauxhall Motors is re-launching its apprenticeship scheme and encouraging youngsters from the area to apply.
