Britain's most senior police officer, Sir Paul Stephenson, has resigned as the Metropolitan Police Commissioner because of his links with a former deputy editor at The News of the World.

A Milton Keynes school has been recognised for improving it's reputation. Our reporter has found life for teachers and learners has been transformed at Leon School in Bletchley.

A metal detectorist from Aylesbury has been presented with an award for finding rare Roman coin making equipment. Tom Clark discovered the treasure, which dates back to 300 AD, near Wing. He's donated the finds to Buckinghamshire County Museum.
