Mark Matthews sits in.

David Cameron is admitting he shouldn't have hired former News of the World editor Andy Coulson as his top PR man.

The Prime Minister says, with hindsight, he made a mistake.

He was speaking in an emergency debate on phone hacking in the Commons, where he's been facing a grilling from MPs.

Also on the agenda, Suffolk County Council look set to slash the salary for their next Chief Executive.

The 218 thousand pounds paid to the former boss Andrea Hill was around 30 thousand higher than the national average for the role - and proved highly controversial with many saying she should not be paid more than the prime minister.

Now councillors on the Staff Appointments Committee are being advised to cut the rate to a base salary of around 160 thousand when they meet next week... we hear from the Council leader as well as the local Liberal democrat leader.
