Tears for Fears formed in 1981 in Bristol. They were formed by then teenagers Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. Their debut album The Hurting was released in the same year as this concert, and went to the top of the album charts in the UK. They have released six studio albums in total, their last being Everybody Loves a Happy Ending. They toured Australia and New Zealand last year with Spandau Ballet.
