Franz Ferdinand - 'Queen Margaret Union Glasgow 2004'
**Supported by Fiery Furnaces & Sons And Daughters for this 2004 gig**
Formed in Glasgow in 2002, and composed of Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy, Nick McCarthy and Paul Thomson.
They first experienced chart success when their second single "Take Me Out" reached #3 in the UK Charts, followed by their self titled debut album Franz Ferdinand which debuted on the UK album chart at #3
The band is named after the Austrian Archduke of the same name, whose assassination was a major factor in the outbreak of World War I. The band chose the name after watching the racehorse Archduke Ferdinand win the 2001 Northumberland Plate.

Brave Captain - 3rd December 2000.
After the breakup of the Boo Radleys, Carr launched a solo career, taking the name brave captain from a song by the U.S. rock band, Firehose.
His solo work has largely been more electronic based than his previous work, and mainly features himself on lead vocals, whereas in The Boo Radleys he rarely sang (despite writing the lyrics).

Sun Carriage - John peel Session 9th June 1991
Sun Carriage existed from around 1988 - 1992. They were founded by Ron Price and Mathew Watts in Plymouth during the late 1980s.
Sun Carriage supported various bands of the time such as House Of Love, Spacemen 3, Lush and even Happy Mondays.
