Pakistan custody battle
Abid Ali from Blackburn says he would never have given up the fight to bring his half-brother back to the UK from Pakistan.
Blackburn MP Jack Straw has praised a local man for his persistence in fighting for custody of his half-brother in Pakistan.
Abid Ali's father and second wife were killed in a car crash in January, along with their two daughters - with only seven-year-old Qasim surviving.
The family of Abid's stepmother was trying to keep Qasim in Pakistan, which is what he's been battling to prevent over the past eight months.
Abid finally won custody and brought Qasim back to Lancashire at the weekend.
