Would you watch televised court proceedings?

It would be reality TV but not as we know it..yet. Would sentencing people on the telly merely shed more heat than light? Or COULD it act as a deterrent?

Ministers are said to be seriously considering allowing broadcasters to televise the sentencing of offenders in courts in England and Wales. Would a move like this serve as a deterrent against committing crimes, with the threat that your sentencing could end up on TV - or do you think that something like this would merely enrage the public?

Suffolk-born Gary Avis and Royal Ballet star talks about why he's bringing his special charity show to Ipswich.

As part of Heritage Open Weekend, Mark hears how a garden near West Stow, which took part in the event for the first time last year - is opening its doors to the public.

And for many parents, it's the first day back at school - Mark's asking whether the house is quiet and peaceful after six weeks of entertaining the children or whether you're feeling pangs of sadness as your son or daughter starts school for the very first time.
