Felixstowe port, tributes to David Croft and celebrity spotting
We're live at the port as Felixstowe's new deep-water shipping terminal open. Suffolk pays tribute to Dad's Army writer David Croft. And the celebrity spotters of Suffolk are out in force.
Felixstowe's new deep-water shipping terminal in Felixstowe formally opens today. Luke Deal reports live from the new facility and Terry asks the chief executive of Hutchison Ports UK, David Gledhill, what it'll mean for the town.
His family has described him as a truly great man. Colleagues say he was a 'genius' and an 'inspiration'. Terry hears tributes being paid to David Croft - who co-wrote comedy classics including Dad's Army and Hi-De-Hi.
And Bruce Willis at Dartford Tunnel, Princess Diana at the Suffolk Show and Burt Reynolds at a petrol station in Ipswich.
Listeners share stories about spotting a celebrity in an unexpected place in honour of the farmer who told global pop star Rihanna to cover up as she filmed a video in his field.
