Government's plans to restore weekly bin collections

The government is unveiling plans to encourage councils in England to restore weekly bin collections. Many people now get their rubbish collected one week and their recycling the next.

Our reporters will be scooting around the county to try to visit as many Macmillan coffee mornings as they can - if you're in Claydon, Bury St. Edmunds, Lowestoft or Felixstowe you'll be getting a visit!

Mark will be catching up with two foreign correspondents in New Zealand - one from the earthquake-torn Christchurch where they're building a cardboard cathedral to replace the one that was destroyed.

The other one is in Auckland to get the reaction and atmosphere from the hub of the Rugby World Cup 2011 ahead of England's big game.

A Suffolk ballroom dancing expert will be previewing the brand new series of Strictly that starts tonight.

And there's another chance to give a pet a loving home - and your help does count - Mark's got some good news form the Blue Cross in Felixstowe after one of its pets was featured on the show a couple of weeks ago.
