Chris Evans hosted the programme with guest appearances from other Radio 2 presenters, and live music from Will Young; Lenny Kravitz in his first UK performance in almost three years; Chic; James Blunt; Caro Emerald; as well as Jools Holland and Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, with guests Sandie Shaw and Ruby Turner.
Also appearing were The Pierces, and the best folk live experience from eleven-piece big band Bellowhead.
