The Home Secretary Theresa May is facing questions about the relaxation of passport controls. Ben Chrystie manager of Entry to the UK, a national immigration advisory group in Luton, talks to Jessica Cooper.

More than 4,000 police officers will be on the streets of central London this lunchtime as students protest against changes to tuition fees and "privatisation" in universities. Rhea Simpson from Milton Keynes, who started university this year, is on the programme live from the protest.

The Lister Hospital in Stevenage has taken another step towards having a 24 hour heart attack centre. A new area for treatment at the Hertfordshire Cardiology Unit, costing 拢4.5 million, is being opened.
