Apprentices, A12 /A14 widening and Broomhill pool
Terry hears why a Suffolk firm is having problems finding apprentices willing to do the work. There are calls to upgrade the A12 and A14. And councillors put up some money for Broomhill pool.
Terry hears from a Suffolk cabinet-maker who says young people aren't willing to work as apprentices. Piers Hart of Piers Hart and Company cabinet-makers, who are based at Barnham says the loss of the careers service in local schools and cuts in college courses are partly to blame.
Villagers fears about an increase in traffic on the A12 fuel renewed calls for a bypass. While Cambridgeshire's Chamber of Commerce has set up an online petition to lobby for an upgrade to the A14.
Ipswich Borough Council says they'll put up 拢1m to kickstart the restoration of Broomhill Pool. Luke Deal's live at the site.
