Ricky is becoming increasingly concerned about Frank's mood as Frank descends further into a state of desperation and despair over the future of Frank's Autos. Meanwhile Frank is making final preparations in his plot to get Phil to set fire to the car lot. Under pressure and after a night out with Grant, Phil finally succumbs to Frank's pleas to torch the business. He arrives at the car lot with paraffin in tow and sets it ablaze. However later when the fire brigade arrive, Frank is horrified and faces his worst nightmare when a body is discovered and pulled out of the ashy rubble.
