Honours, Bishops, Olympics and 4YP's first ever patron
More of Suffolk's New Year Honours, and Suffolk Young People's Health Project announces its first ever patron
As we enter the Olympic year, Rob talks to David Wilson, the CEO of More Than Gold, the group encouraging churches to make the most of the 2012 games.
Continuing our celebration of those from Suffolk awarded New Year Honours, Rob speaks to Anesta Newson MBE about her work with the Bridge Project in Sudbury, supporting adults with learning disabilities.
In Felixstowe, Sue Brace also becomes an MBE for her work with the charity Care of Police Survivors (COPS)
Her sister was PC Cheryl LLoyd, who was a police officer for Suffolk Constabulary, killed whilst on duty June 2005.
She is currently the group's national president.
The Right Reverend Nigel Stock, Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich, reflects on how the challenges of 2011 affected Suffolk, and shares his hopes for the coming year.
Another piece of good news from the Suffolk Young People's Health Project (known as 4YP) is the announcement of their first patron.
大象传媒 Radio Suffolk can exclusively reveal Olympic archery hopeful Nicky Hunt is taking on the honour.
Plus a love story that gets better with age, and why new year hasn't always been where we expect it to be.
