A report published today says helping some people to commit suicide should be made legal but only if the person wanting to die meets certain criteria.
The British Medical Association, which is opposed to the idea of assisted death, declined to take part in the inquiry.
The government says it's working to improve end-of-life care, and any change in the law would be a matter for individual MPs rather than government policy.
