Suffolk Police cuts and Suffolk Wildlife Trust nears a fundraising goal

Joanna Spicer, chairman of Suffolk Police Authority, talks to Rob about the tough budget decisions they face.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust gives an update on their fundraising to by Knettishall Heath.

Suffolk Police are facing tough decisions over their budget.

If they freeze their council tax, and accept a government grant, they will have to cut officers.

The alternative is putting up their portion of the council tax by 3.75 percent.

The Police Authority chairman, Joanna Spicer, tells Rob about their dilemma.

Last week Suffolk Wildlife Trust were telling Rob about their hope of buying Knettishall Heath, and how they needed to raise 拢100,000 themselves to release a Lottery grant.

This week, there is good news from the trust - who are just a few thousand pounds short of their target.
