Nature: Behind the Scenes
The 大象传媒's renowned Natural History Unit has been producing ground-breaking wildlife programmes from across the globe for over 50 years. Capturing these beautiful and often rare moments from the natural world means the crew and cameramen must go to some extraordinary lengths. From sleeping underground for weeks at a time, to filming on the world's largest pile of poo. From building table-top sets to film the smallest insects, to sitting in hides every day for what can be months on end.聽It takes huge amounts of passion, patience, dedication and determination in some of the world鈥檚 most challenging and hostile environments to bring these much-loved images to the audience.聽This video clip collection draws together some of the Behind the Scenes stories from series such as Frozen Planet, Planet Earth and Deadly 60 and explains exactly what it takes to make some of the most memorable moments in wildlife television.
