The Argentine President, Cristina Fernadez de Kirchner, has said she will make a formal complaint to the United Nations about what she called British militarisation of the South Atlantic.

She was addressing Argentine veterans of the 1982 conflict when she also criticised the arrival in the Falklands of Prince William, who is on a six week deployment as an RAF search and rescue pilot.

The thirty year anniversary of the Falklands conflict takes place this year.
