Stars from the worlds of sport and music including celebrated violinist Nicola Benedetti, and Olympic heroes Allan Wells, Liz McColgan and David Wilkie, will come together at Glasgow鈥檚 Clyde Auditorium on Saturday 3 March for a unique event, part of Music Nation, a weekend of nationwide live music events counting down to the London 2012 Festival.

Performing alongside the 大象传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra, its world-renowned Chief Conductor Donald Runnicles and Nicola Benedetti will be Orkney fiddler Kristan Harvey (大象传媒 Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2011), the National Youth Choir of Scotland, members of the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and young people from the Big Noise project in Stirling鈥檚 Raploch Estate.
