Ivan Cooper and John Hume of the nationalist SDLP, Eddie McAteer of the Nationalist Party and Father Edward Daly, a priest in Diocese of Derry, are unanimous in their rejection of Lord Widgery's findings, reflecting the mood of the people of the Bogside area of Londonderry where the shootings took place, while the Ulster Unionist Commander Albert Anderson considers Widgery's conclusions to be "reasonable".
