A farmer in Tiptree has been told to remove water butts by Colchester Council, despite the drought and forthcoming house pipe ban becasue they are contrary to planning policy.
The 3 main parties and an independent councillor in Colchester are all in agreement that a 'park and ride' is the way forward for the town's congestion problems.
Almost half of drivers talk on the phone while at the wheel, according to a poll by the road safety charity Brake.
