Easter Sunday Cathedral special live from Bury St Edmunds.

For Easter Sunday, the most important day in the Christian calendar, the breakfast show comes live from the cathedral in Bury St Edmunds.

In a special programme, Rob explores and celebrates life at the Cathedral Church of St James and St Edmund.

The morning starts with the first Eucharist of Easter, with worshipers lighting candles from a brazier outside the south entrance, before filling the cathedral with light (and sound).

Rob speaks to the senior clergy, including the Bishop, staff, the volunteers who devote their time and energy to making the cathedral community thrive, and those choosing an early start to their Easter Sunday by attending the two services happening before 9am.

Rob also discusses how the church and state work together in Bury with the Mayor of St Edmundsbury, Councillor Christopher Spicer, and the Dean of St Edmundsbury, the Very Reverend Dr Frances Ward.

There's also some inspiring music, a little history and a tiny bit of chocolate.
