He's currently in Barton Mills, but shares tales of working in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and also in the Choleston Desert among the Marwari Bheel dalit community.

Born to a British Jewish family, he moved to South Africa as a child, becoming a Christian in his 20s whilst at design college.

Rob hears the story of bequest for the Bury St Edmunds Town pastors.

Southgate Church in Bury St Edmunds has made a gift of 拢7000 to the work of the Bury Town Pastors from a legacy received from the late Brenda Mann who died last year aged 92.

A regular worshipper at Southgate Church for many years, Brenda was originally from London, joining the Suffolk police and working in Lowestoft, Felixstowe and Bury St Edmunds.

She was her constabulary's first woman sergeant, working with young people and police cadets, and becoming head of the police women's department.

In 1993, she was awarded the MBE for services to police welfare. She left the Church a substantial legacy from which this gift to Bury Town Pastors is being made.

England rugby union winger David Strettle is to be special guest at this year's annual ULR Rugby Sevens Tournament in Suffolk.

Crowds of up to 3000 will see sixteen of the top national and international sevens rugby teams compete at the Haberden, home of Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club.

The regional heats were at St Edmundsbury Cathedral yesterday, 40 youngsters will eventually perform for the Queen at St Paul's.
