Proposals are being submitted for a 25 megawatt solar panel farm near Framlingham. The 160 acre site at Hacheston could produce enough green energy for 25,000 homes each year. Hampshire-based Hive Energy are behind the bid. Foz speaks to their CEO Giles Redpath.
The employment minister, Chris Grayling, has been in Haverhill to discuss how to cut unemployment in the town. He visited Jobcentre Plus and chatted to local employers about improving job prospects in the south west of the county. He spoke to our reporter Kim Riley who asked him if he was impressed with what he'd seen and heard in Haverhill.
A new group has launched to fight for flood defences for an estuary in East Suffolk. The Alde and Ore Association has 12 members representing various communities across the area. Sir Edward Greenwell is one of those involved. He told Look East's Richard Daniel that this is a groundbreaking initiative.
