There's a call for major changes to the way dentists give out information on costs. They've been accused of misleading thousands of patients about their right to NHS treatment. The Office of Fair Trading says about 500,000 people a year have been given the wrong information about their options and many have paid unnecessarily for private treatment.
The British Dental Association says research indicates most patients are happy with the care they receive and this has been confirmed by the watchdog's own findings.
