Tony Hicks from The Hollies takes us through their rare recordings and long career, plus Karen Lane joins us for an hour of jazz music.
They had a string of hits in the 1960s and 1970s and are known to millions across the world, but tonight Roger delves into the rare archives of one of Britain’s favourite bands – The Hollies.
Guitarist and singer Tony Hicks chats about their latest album which features unreleased material, previously only heard by fans in concert.
Our Classic Album of the week is Hard Day’s Night by The Beatles while Roger also takes us through a future classic – Strangeland by Keane. Plus from 9pm there is an hour of jazz music with Karen Lane.
