Remembering Andy Hamilton MBE
A selection of the best in jazz music.
We remember Jazz musician and educator from Birmingham, Andy Hamilton. We shall also hear some of those who have benefited from his insistence that ‘you are never too old to learn an instrument.’ Also there's a new album from Midlands singer Suzanne Mott and one from singer Joe Stilgoe. Arturo Sandoval dedicates his new CD to Dizzy Gillespie and from the heritage of jazz there’s Bill Evans and Bob Brookmeyer (at two pianos), George Lewis and Mick Mulligan.
