Is the minimum wage too low?
The phone-in at 9.00am, 'Is the minimum wage too low?'
From 10.00am, JVS asks 'Do you enjoy a drink every day?'
The charity Oxfam, is calling for an increase in the minimum wage to protect low income workers from dropping below the poverty line.
A report by the charity has found that six out of 10 working-age adults living in poverty come from working households.
In October, the minimum wage for over 21's will rise by 11 pence to 拢6.19 an hour.
Oxfam says that's not enough.
The call comes as the government decides to redefine the way that poverty is measured and at the same time as the work and pensions secretary, Ian Duncan Smith, tells parents on the dole to get a job if they want to avoid their children living in poverty.
