Episode 1
It's an ordinary day when beat cop Sav bumps into his ex-girlfriend and child and glimpses the family he could have had. But the ordinary day turns into a nightmare when Sav encounters an evil thug in a diner and his best friend is brutally attacked.

Music: Pump it Up by Elvis Costello
Episode one is an incredibly strong and cathartic episode. The Sav at the end of the episode is a very different man from the one we met at the beginning. We wanted to end the episode in tune with our hero and feeling that, despite what has happened to him, he is still in control: he is going to face his enemies and do something about his situation. It was therefore very important that our final track was upbeat and Pump It Up fitted the bill. We also wanted to celebrate Liverpool in the music so Elvis Costello was perfect.
